The Grand Tasting is the centerpiece of the Rhode Island Wine Experience (Wine X), an immersive celebration of wine, spirits, food and conversation in the heart of downtown Providence. Returning to The Capital Grille at 10 Memorial Boulevard, this signature event brings together 45–50 acclaimed wine producers and brands for an afternoon of exceptional tastings, discovery and connection.
Guests are invited to explore a thoughtfully curated collection of wines from around the world, tasting across regions, varietals and styles while engaging directly with winemakers, vintners and the people behind the labels. Curated culinary offerings will complement the wines throughout the afternoon, including a new Caviar Bar designed to add another layer of indulgence to the Grand Tasting experience.
New and expanded for 2027, Wine X will also feature premium spirits tastings, giving guests the opportunity to discover a curated selection of exceptional spirits alongside the festival’s extensive wine offerings.
Education and conversation remain at the heart of Wine X. Grand Tasting admission includes access to four dynamic panel discussions featuring influential voices from across the wine world. Winemakers, sommeliers, journalists, industry leaders and hospitality professionals will come together for engaging conversations exploring the people, ideas and trends shaping wine today.
