The Rhode Island Wine Experience (Wine X) returns April 15–18, 2027, celebrating its third season as part of the newly named Providence Food & Wine Festival, presented by GoProvidence.
Wine X brings together acclaimed winemakers, sommeliers, industry leaders, media, and wine enthusiasts for four days of thoughtfully curated experiences celebrating wine, food, education, and connection in the heart of Providence.
At the center of Wine X is the signature Grand Tasting on Saturday, April 17, at The Capital Grille in downtown Providence. The immersive tasting experience brings together exceptional wineries and producers from around the world, paired with curated culinary offerings, giving guests the opportunity to discover new wines, meet the people behind the labels, and experience the energy of the wine world in an elevated yet approachable setting.
Education and conversation remain an important part of the Wine X experience. The 2027 Grand Tasting will feature four engaging panel discussions that bring together influential voices from across the wine industry, including winemakers, sommeliers, journalists, brand leaders and hospitality professionals, to explore the people, ideas and trends shaping the world of wine today.
Throughout the four-day festival, guests can also enjoy intimate wine dinners, special tastings, VIP programming, and unique collaborations with some of Providence’s leading culinary destinations.
